- what's the connection?
Well, none of them has yet been a pupil at
bike school scotland (any day now, though) but
every one of them got to the top
of their sport with the benefit of excellent coaching.
Enjoying sport (whether
you're 'sporty' or not) requires all
sorts of stuff (not just the kit stuff, although that's v cool,
we love it and always want more).
Sports psychologists cite motivation, positive mental
attitude (PMA), persistence, etc.; the things that
come from inside you. But they also know
that to achieve the levels that
make you happy, you're going to need an excellent
coach who will help develop not just your technique but
also provide the support needed to gain and sustain that PMA,
motivation, etc..
Bike school scotland offers
world-class coaching for all levels of rider from mountain bike newbies to battle-scarred veterans.
We give you the essential building blocks of mtb
technique and the skills to teach yourself.
So our courses show you 'how to'
then enable you to be your own best coach.
Based at Laggan’s Wolftrax MTB
Park,
our
instructors
use
all the tools in the coaching toolbox so
that they meet each rider’s learning preferences and mtb goals.
All our instructors hold
top national MBLA & coaching qualifications and are also
coaches and athletes/performers in a range of other sports so
they bring that experience and all-round brilliance and
enthusiasm to
every lesson they teach.
And as well as transforming
your riding, they'll ensure you have
a blast, make some new friends and end the day feeling
really good - about the time you had, about your riding,
about life.
So if you feel like you're
struggling to keep up with your mates, or you want
to get the best possible start in a new sport, or you're
in a rut and want to get your mtb groove back, ask
yourself, what would Brian Lopes do?
