SMBLA Expedition Module
The SMBLA Expedition Endorsement consists of an additional 2 day training course and a further 3 day assessment for TCL and MBL holders who plan to lead groups on expeditions, which are defined as trips of one or more nights where the group needs to be entirely self-sufficient (i.e. camping or bivouacking rather than using shelters, bothies, etc.)
Pre-requirements for Expedition Module
The Expedition module is open to holders of the SMBLA Trail Cycle Leader and Mountain Bike Leader Awards and will be delivered on terrain suited to the participants’ experience and qualifications.
